Regulatory

From controlled substances to identity theft protection, veterinarians and veterinary practices must meet certain legal requirements.

While you are engaged in clinical practice, the OVMA regularly monitors and interfaces with both state and federal agencies such as the Oregon Veterinary Medical Examining Board, the Oregon Board of Pharmacy and the DEA.

We have developed an OSHA program that is veterinary specific, informed you when the State of Oregon classified PPA as a controlled substance, and helped to make new radiology rules more practical for the profession. Serving you every day is what we are about.
