Celebrating the Human-Animal Bond
This year, the Oregon Veterinary Medical Association's booth at the Oregon State Fair celebrated the special relationship between humans and animals, as well as that of animals with each other. The veterinary team is an important part of these relationships.
We are grateful for the support of our 501c3 foundation, the Oregon Animal Health Foundation, towards this year's booth.
The Oregon Animal Health Foundation's Human-Animal Bond Photo Contest was held during this year's Fair, and we received many wonderful and touching entries. We were so pleased and touched to see the depth of the connection between you and your pets and equines.

The judges have selected Couch Sharing, submitted by Jason Larsen, as the Grand Prize winner. Jason will receive $100 towards his next veterinary visit for Sissy the dog with Dr. Christine Brennan at VCA Rock Creek Veterinary Hospital in Aloha.

O'Malley the Cat and Baby Audrey, submitted by Krystal Cooper
"O'Malley the cat and his new baby sister Audrey. Baby Audrey was only 2 months old in this picture. She was taking a nice little nap and O'Malley decided to join her. Audrey is now almost two years old and her and O'Malley are best of friends! She will grow up loving cats as much as her mom!"
