Hospira Recalls One Lot of Hydromorphone Hydrochloride Injection 2 MG/ML, (C-II) 1 ML Fill In 2.5 ML Carpuject
Hospira, Inc. has recalled one lot of Hydromorphone Injection, USP, 2 mg/mL (C-II), 1 mL fill in 2.5 mL Carpuject™, NDC 0409-1312-30 , due to a reported complaint of a single Carpuject containing more than the 1 mL labeled fill volume.

Land O'Lakes Purina Feed LLC has initiated a voluntary recall of certain varieties of poultry feed products due to the lack of added vitamin D in these products. Inadequate levels of vitamin D in a bird’s diet for greater than 2-3 weeks may cause bone weakness, fractures or joint problems, and potentially death, if birds are not exposed to direct sunlight daily. Birds living outdoors may not experience symptoms due to the formation of natural vitamin D that occurs within the bird’s body with exposure to a minimum of 30 minutes of direct sunlight daily.
Catswell Brand VitaKitty Chicken Breast with Flaxseed and Vitamins Recalled Due to Possible Propylene Glycol
Arthur Dogswell LLC has recalled 1051 cartons packed as either 10 or 50 packages per case of Catswell Brand VitaKitty Chicken Breast with Flaxseed and Vitamins because it has the potential to contain propylene glycol. High levels of propylene glycol in the treats could result in serious injury to cats. The adverse health impacts could be reducing red blood cell survival time (anemia) and making the cells more susceptible to oxidative damage. No illnesses have been reported to date.

Oregon Cattlemen’s Association Establishes Fire Victims Relief Fund for Ranchers Affected by SE Oregon Fires
In response to the devastating fires occurring in Harney and Malheur counties, the Oregon Cattlemen’s Association has set up a fire victim’s relief fund as a part of the Oregon Cattlemen’s Stewardship Fund. Charitable donations of cash or in-kind (including hay and supplies), are now being accepted online, via phone or in person at the OCA office. Ranchers are also seeking relocation options for cattle that are threatened by the fires.

The company is also expanding its previously announced voluntary recalls to include additional varieties of the Mazuri® and LabDiet® feed products due to analytical test results on additional lots of retained samples that indicate a potential for elevated levels of vitamin D.
