Understanding the Difference Between Your Patient’s Needs and Your Client’s Wants

It’s been my experience that many clinicians take the “let’s try it and see” approach to marketing. They see or hear about an idea or product that makes sense, and they give it a shot. The problem with this approach is that it usually does not truly consider both the medical needs of the patient as well as the client’s wants as a consumer.
